Kendall delivers his buyout proposal to Logan at Shiv's wedding reception, which angers and devastates the entire Roy family. Logan immediately circles his team to strategize a defense.
Roman's satellite explodes on the launchpad during a live television broadcast. He grows very nervous about the legal ramifications, especially because he rushed the project up to coincide with Shiv and Tom's wedding day. Fortunately, none of the people at the launch were killed, keeping him safe from any major lawsuits.
Shiv confesses her affair to Tom. They reaffirm their commitment and love for each other, but Shiv asks Tom to keep an open relationship so she can maintain her freedom.
After challenging Gil's left-wing policies, Connor realizes that he wants to run for President of the United States. He announces the idea to Willa and his siblings, much to their surprise.
After Connor, Shiv and Roman try to intervene with Kendall, he storms out and goes on a search for drugs with a member of the catering staff. Driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, Kendall crashes the car into a pond — killing the caterer — and abandons the scene of the crime. Logan learns of the accident and uses it as leverage against his guilt-ridden son, thus keeping his hold over Waystar.
